Dermot Mulroney Walked Off 'The View'

Dermot Mulroney's appearance on The View this past Friday was cut short when he walked off set. Apparently it was in support of the Writer's Guild of America strike. Further details can be found on People.com.

On The View, Dermot talked about his latest role in Marvel's Secret Invasion in which he stars alongside Don Cheadle, who also appeared on the TV series Fame. Image below shows Don and Dermot in a scene from the show.

Changing Things Up

I've decided not to renew the web hosting that I have been using for my FameForever (.com & .net) website. It's been quite awhile since I've really worked on updating the site. I don't want to give up on it though. So I've decided to switch over to Blogger. And I'm very much hoping that I can get back into updating it as often as possible.

I started working on moving the site a little while back. Still a TON of work to be done on it though. One thing that I'm not sure how I will accomplish is having music on the site unless it's done in the form of YouTube videos. That's something I'll have to look into. If it's not possible, I guess that's the way it will have to be. But at least I should be able to get most everything else up so that all my years of work on the site doesn't completely go to waste.

So stay tuned.

P.S. I have yet to forward the FameForever.net domain to here, so using that will take you to the old site for the time being.

We're Still Here - (Broadway)

Here is a cute video from March 2021 featuring Broadway stars singing "We're Still Here" that took place during the pandemic. Featured in the video are two former stars from two versions of Fame. Christopher J. Hanke, who played Nick Piazza in Fame on 42nd Street and Michael Cerveris, who played Ian Ware in the last season of the Fame TV series.

Olivia Barash Interview

Entertainment Weekly posted an interview with Olivia Barash, who played Maxie on the final season of Fame, regarding the two part episode she appeared in on Little House on the Prairie. I'd say those episodes were probably the darkest storyline that the show ever did.
