TVShowsOnDVD have announced that due to the new Fame movie coming out later this year, MGM has decided to give releasing the TV series Fame another try. However, it's not just season 2 we are talking about here. What they have decided to do is package up season 1 and 2 together into one set.

There are some things worth mentioning though. First, there will be a featurette about Debbie Allen included and, unfortunately, the episode Come One, Come All is marked as being "musically edited" which more than likely means that a song/songs have either been cut out or replaced by another piece of music.

The set is scheduled for a September 15th release!

Symphony Space's free Wall to Wall Broadway: A Century of Musicals, a 12-hour celebration of the music of Broadway, will be presented May 16 beginning at 11 AM at the Peter Norton Symphony Space which is located in Manhattan at 2537 Broadway (at 95th Street).

Michael Cerveris is scheduled to perform at 6 and 8 PM tonight.

Carol Mayo Jenkins, a veteran actress who has starred on Broadway and is remembered as English teacher Elizabeth Sherwood in the award-winning television series Fame, returns to Petaluma to star the upcoming Cinnabar Theater production of Collected Stories.

This Friday, May 8th, the movie Next Day Air with Debbie Allen premieres in theaters.

Billy Hufsey posted a link on Facebook to a site to demand that he come to your area. So, out of curiosity, I went and demanded that he swing by my neck of the woods.  You can do the same. I guess if there is enough interest, in particular areas, Billy may do a concert there.
