Pictures below are property of Teresa Parks and are copyrighted as such.
Dinner from 6p.m. - 7p.m.
Show started at 7:30.......
Billy was the 3rd act out. He wore tan pants with a white shirt.......
He did a disco number singing & dancing........I will tell you - he still has it.........it was like watching "Fame" .....You should have heard me screaming......I gave him a standing ovation.......
He also did a small solo on the drums.......for those of you that don't know - he can play drums, piano, & saxophone in real life....as well as sing, dance & act (which we ALL knew)
Few more acts came & went........
Billy came back out ( costume change to a black suit ) he did a melody of Sinatra hits..........
Few more acts came out again.........
Billy returned with black leather pants & a sleeveless back leather vest ( he looked so hot - it reminded of the N.Y. concerts - whenever he did Elvis ) he sang "Grease Lightning" "Great Balls of Fire" & "Johnny B. Goode"........
intermission ( 30 minutes - dessert was served )
Few more acts.........
Billy came back in his tan pants & white shirt that he started in.....
he sang "Fame" with a huge screen behind him with his clips from the show..........that was awesome ( I screamed really, really loud - he definitely knew I was there - we sat at big dinner tables but if we had regular theater arrangements - my seat would have been the equivalent to 4th row from the stage on the right side)
I know the foot lights make it difficult for performers to see - but if he didn't see me then he definitely heard me.....LOL
After singing "Fame" he talked a little about his career & how fortunate he is to have done so much.......he also talked about his "Steppin Up' " program/charity.........
then he sang Ricky Martin's "Livin La Vida Loca"
I literally melted..........
Another act with other people of christmas melodies.......
Then they did their curtain call & Billy came out again......
I gave him a standing ovation..........& screamed..........
( I had originally wanted to present him with roses but the theater wouldn't allow that! Damn! )
We went to the reception room.........
Billy came in about 20 minutes later..........
He talked with various media..........
then on to the fans........
I was waiting my turn......he mentioned how VH1 did the "Fame" marathon a few months back.........I yelled I know "fame" saturday I taped it........he looked at me & smiled and said "Alright!" He said he got over 9000 calls from various people - cause of them showing 6 episodes on VH1........so watch out he will probably start popping up on tv & movies when his obligations are done in Akron.......( I hope so )
I thanked him for all the years of entertainment & told him how much I enjoyed the show........I also had him autograph a picture & the program........He gave me a hug ( my head was spinning - it was like a dream come true - for the rest of the night I could smell his cologne on my coat that I had on - it was wonderful ) I asked him if I could take a picture of the two of us.......he said "Sure sweetheart".........in the pic when I get it scanned......you'll notice three of us in there........the other guy is my boyfriend- Fred.......Billy said "Come on, all of us" and put his arm around me & pulled Fred in........I had my arms around Billy........that was a once in a lifetime chance & I wasn't gonna let it just go by w/o doing everything I could.........I donated 40.00 to his "Steppin Up' " program .........I also bought a cd of all the music he did in the show ( the Razzle Dazzle show ) I am sending a copy to Pam so she can add it to the audio/real player part of the website......so when that's done - you all will be able to hear it........It's fabulous!!! He autographed the cd.........I wished him a Happy Birthday & gave him a birthday card......(his birthday is Dec. 8th - he will be the big 4-0 this year) .......I think he was surprised I remembered & he said thanks.......I said I remember that from all those teen beat magazines & he laughed.........I also put my address, phone number, & email in the card......so if he ever decides to get back with me - I will let you all know........I doubt he will - he probably didn't even remember to pick it up after he was ready to go home that evening......but that's okay it was enough to just meet him, say thanks & wish him a happy b-day in person........All in all my time with him one on one was about 15 - 20 minutes.......then I went through the lobby & had Fred take some more pictures of me with Billy's sign & under the marquee ....all of which you will see when I get the scanning done..........He is very nice & sweet to everyone & soooooo gracious...........Can U imagine how many times he has done that throughout the years.......... He is not as tall as I thought ......I'm 5'2 & he is only 3 or 4 " taller than me........on "Fame" he looked 6 feet.....he has put on a little weight but it is definitely all muscle.....I was watching him dance.......he still looks so hot - you would never guess in a million years that he is gonna turn 40 next month.......
It was a once in a lifetime experience that I will always treasure......I had a great time!!!!!!!!!!!
